Belhar Singer-Songwriter Keanu Harker Set To Host A Concert Celebrating Women This August
Cape Town-born musician, Keanu Harker, is celebrating Women’s Month in style with a Ladies Night performance at The Wave Theatre in The Mother City.
The August 13 show is presented by KL Entertainment and will feature special guest artists who will contribute to an unforgettable night.
Known for his love of motivational and uplifting music the 26-year-old performer – who writes all of his own music – will be performing new music such as his brand new song, No More as well as covers, and crowd favourites from his first album entitled, I Believe in Me.
“Being on stage and performing live in front of an audience is one of my favourite things to do as a musician. I love engaging with those who have taken the time to appreciate my music and I receive so much joy from their interactions while singing. This concert is going to be another fun experience and I encourage everyone to come out and support the show,” he says.
Originally from Belhar, Keanu first caught the attention of audiences around the country in 2019 as a finalist on The Voice SA season 3. He has since gone on to perform with musical greats both nationally and internationally.
Harker is known for getting audiences on their feet and has performed on stages of big festivals like the KKNK, K-Day, and the GrandWest Arena alongside acts like Mi Casa, Jonathan Butler and Don Vino Prins.
He released his first album in November 2021 leaning on his optimistic songwriting style.
“I am big on writing motivational and inspiring songs,’ says the full-time musician who graduated as a music industry specialist and top performer from the Cape Music Institute.
Harker’s genres include R+B, Soul, Funk, Pop, and Gospel and the performer who is currently working on his latest album and is eager to get out of the studio and onto the stage.

Keanu Harker is one of South Africa’s most exciting young performing artists, recognized both locally and internationally. Keanu Harker grew up in and currently resides in Cape Town.
Aged 26, he is an exceptionally energetic and enthusiastic multi-talented performing artist. Keanu is not only an incredible vocalist but a consummate guitarist, session musician, stage performer, actor, model, MC and last but not least an inspiring mentor, teacher and role model for the youth.
This Cape Town-born talent is a natural at songwriting and studio recording and writes all of his own music. Not only is Keanu able to captivate and enthuse an audience with his unique soulful voice but his stage presence and vibe are something incredible to witness!
He is a self-taught full-time musician who graduated as a Music Industry Specialist and Top Performer from the Cape Music Institute in Cape Town.
